Texas Insurance Agency (“TIA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, our online quote forms, and the insurance services we provide in the United States. By using our website or submitting information to us, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
1. Personal Information you give us
- Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
- Information you submit when requesting a quote, filing a claim, or contacting us
2. Nonpublic Personal Information (insurance applications)
To quote, place, or service insurance, we may collect information such as date of birth, driver’s license number, vehicle or property details, prior insurance and claims history, and, where permitted by law, credit-based insurance scores or motor vehicle reports obtained from consumer reporting agencies.
3. Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on site, and referring URL
- Cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and Analytics” below)
Your Privacy Under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)
As an insurance agency, we are treated as a financial institution under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. We collect nonpublic personal information about you from you, from your transactions with us and with insurance carriers, and from consumer reporting agencies. We do not disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted or required by law — for example, to the insurance carriers and service providers needed to quote, place, service, or administer your coverage. We restrict access to your nonpublic personal information to those who need it to provide products or services to you.
How We Use Your Information
- Prepare quotes and submit applications to insurance carriers on your behalf
- Service your policy, process claims, and handle renewals
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Send service messages and, where you have consented, marketing communications
- Analyze and improve our website and services
- Comply with insurance, licensing, and other legal and regulatory requirements
- Detect and prevent fraud
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it:
- With insurance carriers and underwriters — to obtain quotes and place or service your coverage
- With service providers — vendors who host our website, deliver email, provide analytics, or support our operations, under contracts that limit their use of your information
- To comply with the law — where required by law, subpoena, court order, or regulator, or to protect our legal rights
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
Text Messaging (SMS) and Phone Calls
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you text messages about your quote, policy, or account, and — where you have separately consented — promotional messages.
Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with, or sold to, any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes. Your mobile number is used only by Texas Insurance Agency and the messaging providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure traffic, and improve your experience. We use third-party analytics and advertising services, including Google Analytics and Google Ads, which may set their own cookies and collect usage data. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features of our site may not work properly. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
